Hello, we are Terry and Michelle French, founders of Archers Against Cancer. We got into archery quite a few years ago and quickly discovered that we had a love for it. In 2010, we wanted to come up with an idea where archers could come together and raise funds for charity. After witnessing a family members battle with Cancer, we quickly decided that raising funds for Cancer was what we wanted to do. We put our thoughts and plans into motion and in 2011, we came up with Archers Against Cancer and teamed up with Lambton-Kent Archers and Kingsville Wildgoose Archery. Arrangements were made for funds to go to the Canadian Cancer Society, then in 2014, we registered with the London Health Science Center where the funds would go directly to Cancer patients thanks to the Gene Goodreau Patient Assistance Foundation. This allows us to provide financial assistance to patients so they can focus solely on their recovery. We welcome men, women and children of all ages to our annual event and strive to make this bigger and better each and every year!
